Deeann Simpson decided to join the Rogues at the encouragement of her son, Aaron Ervin in 2007. Performing for the first time at the Scarlett Mid-Winter masked brawl, she developed a penchant for using "enlightment" as a weapon with a variety of books to bludgeon Will Dalley (Oklahoma Shapespeare in the Park preshow 2008, Madrigal Dinner 2008, Missouri Renaissance Featival 2010). Deeann split stage duties with Amanda Price-Amonson in 2009's Morpheus In The Underworld. Deeann has used rapier and dagger (Norman Medieval Faire 2010, Kings Champion Faire 2010) |
Deeann's teaching responsibilities at OSU OKC have prevented her from continuing her performances with the Rogues. She is missed!
